About the Event
Chocolate connoisseur Katie Chan will be leading you on a bean-to-bar tasting journey, starting with the history of cacao with some cacao beans tasting and how chocolate came about, leading you on a journey of tasting different origins, percentages and recipes. You will learn how to discern fine from commercial chocolate and what craft chocolate is all about. Similar to a wine tasting session, you will learn how to truly taste and appreciate craft chocolate.
Katie imports curated fine chocolates though her company The Chocolate Club, she organises chocolate tasting and pairing events and judges at international competitions. She has also recently opened the first chocolate cafe in Hong Kong, Chocohood in Tai Hang.
