Sake & Chocolate Pairing with Zarah Tang

Chocolate and Sake are not a traditional pairing as they are both distinguished for narrative-setting notes. For this event we partnered with Kikisake-Shi  Zarah Tang for a challenging tasting, to highlight the beauty of sake and show us where the combination of the flavour notes of sake and chocolate creates a unique experience together.

Zarah Tang is a dynamic and passionate chef who loves fermentation food and funky stuff, after studying 2 years culinary academy she had been working at Japanese-inspired food causal izakaya - Okra Hong Kong, this is where she found her favorite taste of sake. In April 2021, she received the qualification for the INTERNATIONAL KIKISAKE-SHI,after learning sake knowledge and develping her taste buds of it.
