Tea & Chocolate Pairing with Plantation by teakha

Welcome to the universe of fine tea. Plantation by teakha sources prized teas in small batches from family farms in Taiwan, China, Japan and India. Some are famous classics, others are rare finds, and all are made with skill, patience and heart.

This event will take you on a flavour adventure to discover the amazing variety that exists in the world of both tea and chocolate. We will give you tips on how to taste the tea, then the chocolate, then the two together. You get to discover surprising combinations and learn how the flavour of tea affects the flavour of chocolate and vice versa. Flavour is fascinatingly subjective, and we love hearing everyone's unique take on the experience. Remember, there are no wrong answers!

The tea pairing will be led by Mel Patching of @lets.have.tea and @plantation_hk. Her passion for tea has led her to tea farms in China and Taiwan, where she has had first-hand experience in picking and processing her own tea. She currently serves tea at Plantation Teahouse and leads tea tasting events around Hong Kong.
